Mind-blowing

LEE Chong Wei doesn't want to get tangled up in a bid to chase history as the first Malaysian to win the World Championships as the approach had only brought about his downfall on previous occasions.

All Chong Wei wants is to maintain his current form and play his best as he has done in the World Super Series at London's Wembley Arena on Aug 8-14 to give himself a genuine chance of winning the world crown.

The high expectations from fans have been in Chong Wei's mind since his debut in 2005 and after five attempts, he only has a bronze to show.

Chong Wei just wants to keep his approach simple and maintain the same level that has fetched him six titles in seven tournaments this year.

"I haven't won the World's Championships and I will go for it but at the same time, I want to be relaxed which has been my secret for being very consistent this year," said Chong Wei.

Chong Wei has set a high standard on the international stage and even his main rival Lin Dan of China has struggled to keep pace with him this year.
