Mind-blowing
JOHOR BAHRU: A mother felt uneasy when a colleague told her that a baby from the nursery in Pasir Gudang where she sends her three children had been rushed to a clinic.

Lecturer Azura Hani Hamdan’s fear turned to grief when she discovered the baby was her four-month-old boy and he was dead.

“I send my three boys to the nursery at Taman Air Biru in Pasir Gudang as it is near my husband’s office.

“I never thought that today would be the last time I would hold Muhammad Daniel Haziq,” Azura, 33, said at the Sultan Ismail Hospital here yesterday.

Her husband Mohd Farid Mohd Salleh, also 33, said he received a frantic call from his wife at around 10.25am.

He was furious that none of the nursery staff had waited for him or his wife at the clinic. He claimed the nursery management also did not call to inform about the death.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Roslan Zainuddin said that a post-mortem was being done to determine the cause of the baby’s death.

He added that the police have classified the case as sudden death but are investigating all aspects. -The Star
