Mind-blowing
PARALYZED cat Mog is learning to walk again - with SWIMMING lessons

The tabby was feared to be crippled for life after losing the use of his front legs in a road accident.

But a local vert suggested hydrotherapy treatment - despite felines famously hating water.

And Mog is lapping up his 15 minutes sessions at the 13ft long pool, which is normally used by injured dogs.

One year old Mog could move only by agonizingly pushing himself along with his back legs.

But after ten weeks he has made a vast improvement and owner Veronica Ashworth expects him to take his
first steps soon.

Delighted Veronica, 62, of Lostwithiel, Cornwall, said, "Most cats do anything to avoid water, but he seems to really like swimming.

"The therapy is working and there's definitely improvement."

"He does a sort of funny doggy paddle. I think he realizes it is doing him good."

Mog has his £30 a time treatment at the Hawksland centre in St Issey with pet physio Ros Boisseau.

She said, "The first time I out him in he looked at me in horror, but he's regaining strength. I've never treated a cat with hydrotherapy before."
